Meet the Newest Swaddelini Medical Advisory Board Member
Swaddelini is committed to creating safe swaddles for caregivers to use for their babies.
That's why Swaddelini has a Medical Advisory Board. The board helps us determine what tests our products need to undergo to guarantee safety for babies. With the recent launch of our preemie swaddle sleep sack, Allyson Ward, a high-risk NICU nurse, has joined our board.
Allyson Ward has been on both sides of the NICU, first as a nurse and then as a parent. Ally delivered her beautiful twin boys at 30 weeks, starting their months long stay in the NICU. This experience equipped her to see care as more than just a clinician, but as a parent. Ally has since founded her business, This Little Adventure, to lead new parent support with innovative wellness strategies.
As a nurse, she was present in the delivery room when there was elevated risks to the maternal patient or the baby. These risks could be anything from infant-specific wellbeing checks or a preemie baby needing resuscitation.
To Ally, being a high-risk neonatal expert meant doing everything she could do to give a baby the opportunity to live.
As a member of our board, Ally will analyze new Swaddelini developments and give feedback, assimilate feedback received from NICUs all over North America into medical reports, commence specific research relating to the safety and efficacy of Swaddelini products. She will also be answering all medical questions posed to the Swaddelini brand by consumers.
We look forward to partnering with Ally to provide innovative tools for caregivers.
