How to Wash Your Baby Swaddle

We know babies are not the tidiest. Whether it's spitting up, or having a poo go wrong, their baby swaddle is going to get dirty. So, is there anything you need to know before washing their sleep sack?

Washing for the First Time

Before we ship every Swaddelini, we treat it with heat. The first thing you will want to do with the swaddle sack is wash it. The fibers will relax a bit after that first wash, making donning your baby a bit easier.

If that first wash wasn't enough to stretch it out, simply stretch the Swaddelini vertically and horizontally. Don't worry, the Swaddelini will not break! Stretching it out can make it easier to put on your baby, and it will fit like a glove.

Care Instructions

We recommend washing the swaddle in cold water, and letting it air dry. Sometimes. there just isn't enough time for that.

Fortunately, the Swaddelini will still work just fine if it goes in the dryer. However, just like anything knit, it will start to pill faster the more you expose it to heat.
